Floats

Our floats were designed to help customers to maximise tag returns. Enabling tags to float means that should the tag become detached from its host, it is able to float and drift to shore where – thanks to its bright colouration and external label – the tag can be retrieved by beach combers and returned to customers. Where flotation collars have been used, return rates of Data Storage Tags have increased.

Float style and size often depends on application, as they can be used internally (reducing impact of tag weight) as well as externally.
