New DST Model - development

New REPLACEMENT data Storage Tag model design

We are currently designing and fine tuning the development of a new DST model.

This new design will replace all our current G5 and G7 DST models.
Our current DST models will not be returning to production.

Key component issue (Sensor unavailable) – One of our key components (the pressure sensor), has been taken off the market and can no longer obtained through any channels.  

Finding this out recently right before our final stage of micro circuit manufacture has been a significant blow to our progress and roadmap.

What does this mean for the future?
Until we can find an alternative component the development of our new DST is on hold.

Additionally, when a new sensor is sourced, we will need to go back to earlier development stages and rerun our initial tests again.  

Availability Timescale:

>2028
Should a new sensor be located, integrated successfully and funding secured a best-case scenario would be 12-16months to complete all tests and beta runs.

I am sorry to bring you a negative update and would like to thank everyone who has continued to support us. We continue to offer our Data Extraction service and are exploring options on producing flotation collars for DSTs produced by other manufacturers.
